The North East Sex Work Forum is dedicated to informing policy, improving service development and reducing stigma for people involved in all aspects of the sex industry across the North East and beyond. We are advocate for the health and safety of the sex work community who face daily discrimination and stigma. We do this by raising awareness through training, policy development and system change informed by the community we walk alongside.

The North East Women’s Network (NEWN) was established in 2006 for the purpose of strengthening the women’s sector in the North East of England, and ensuring its survival, by encouraging and supporting collaboration between women’s voluntary and community organisations and building partnerships and alliances across other sectors.

NEYDL is a unique youth support service that is dedicated to helping young men and young fathers to play an active and meaningful role in the lives of their children, within families and wider society. We offer a non-judgmental service that is based on mutual trust, respect and honesty. We listen and respond to the challenges facing young men and work with them on a voluntary basis to find positive and long-term solutions. We operate a ‘revolving door’ policy that enables young men to return time and again for help, assistance and friendship.

User led, we support disabled people of all ages who are disadvantaged by disability and vulnerability looking to enabling their full participation in community life, by their coming together on equal terms of lay and professional people, services users and providers, friends, families, carers, advocates, in order to promote equality, diversity and independence through the provision of supported activities, events, opportunities and training across health and social care, leisure and learning, employability and enterprise, information advice and guidance, sports, arts, heritage and culture and issues pertinent to the local community and disabled people within it.
