Niemann-Pick UK (NPUK) is a charitable organisation dedicated to making a positive difference to the lives of those affected by Niemann-Pick disease and their families, from diagnosis to bereavement and beyond. We raise much needed awareness, provide practical and emotional support, advice and information and facilitate research into potential therapies.

The North East Child Poverty Commission (NECPC) is a stakeholder network that believes that all children should have an equal chance in life. Made up of senior representatives from a range of public, private and voluntary sector organisations in the region, the Commission aims to build public and political support for actions that improve the lives of the 1 in 4 children living in poverty in the North East. The Commission is hosted by, but independent of, Newcastle University.

The purpose of NECPT is to mitigate and relive child poverty in the North East of England by:
-Raising awareness of the issue of child poverty
-Improving knowledge and understanding of the causes and consquences of, and solutions to, child poverty.

We are a charity united by our passion to make a difference. We vow to help create change by making better conditions for our homeless and vulnerable in the North East. We also support those who are financially vulnerable and in danger of homelessness and their families. The support we provide is holistic and person centred, through accessing practical and non prescriptive projects.

We are North East Humanists and we are a local charity who want as many people as possible in the North East of England to have awareness, understanding, and acceptance of Humanism as a purposeful and moral basis for leading a happy and fulfilling life. We provide information to individuals and institutions in the community about Humanism, and we organise local activities that help put Humanist values into practice.
