At Hebburn we aim to give young people an experience that will help them grow into the person they want to be in a safe and friendly environment. HERE North East

HERE North East serves as a cultural hub for Global Majority communities and organisations. Our purpose is the promotion of equality for the public benefit. We do this by raising awareness of the cultural contributions and historical connections of Global Majority people in the North East.

Our region is rich in multicultural diversity. HERE provides a space to build on this narrative and to show that our communities are integral to the cultural landscape of the North East.

We exist to promote racial harmony and wellbeing by working towards the elimination of racism.

Hilton & McEwan Stalking Intervention and Prevention

At Hilton & McEwan, we are dedicated to addressing stalking, emotional abuse, and physical assaults through comprehensive advocacy and support services. Our work involves reviewing cases of stalking to identify patterns and inform our strategies, enabling us to provide targeted assistance to victims.

We engage in the complexities surrounding stalking. Our team collaborates with a diverse range of stakeholders, including community organisations, law enforcement agencies, legal professionals, and mental health services.

Hindu Nari Sangh

Hindu Nari Sangh translates Hindu Women's Centre. We make children born of parents from India Origin and indeed the local communities about the rich culture of India. It helps in community cohesion. We teach classical Indian dance from South India and also Bollywood which is lot of fun and exercise.

Hirst Active Youth

Hirst Active Youth is a youth led community organisation established in 2015. We work with young people aged 9-25 years living in Ashington, Northumberland and our purpose is to develop new activities and services in response to the needs of young people to provide support and aid a smooth transition into adulthood. Our work has been in existence since 2009 successfully delivered through the former Ashington Joint Welfare Scheme Charity at Hirst Welfare Centre.
Our activities include drop in sessions, junior gym, junior prevention program, health drop in and holiday provision.
