Citizens Advice Northumberland

Citizens Advice Northumberlands aim is to provide information and advice services across Northumberland and campaign for changes in legislation and practices. Every year we assist over 16,000 people and help them deal with about 40,000 different problems.

Citizens Advice Sunderland

We are an independent charity organisation offering free, confidential and impartial advice and support to Sunderland residents. We also cover extended areas including Washington and Houghton le Spring. Our generalist advisers provide advice mainly around welfare benefits and income maximisation, employment, debt and energy.

Citizens House

Citizens House is a vibrant and well-used community resource centre in Consett, County Durham and is currently under going a massive regeneration project thanks to a lottery grant.Our aim has always been to provide space for a wide range of activities in order to enhance the wellbeing of local people and enrich community life.

We believe that education provides the best possible chance of breaking the cycle of poverty. COCO works with communities in remote regions of East Africa to provide sustainable sources of quality education through our Schools for Life programme.

CoHousing Network

The Cohousing Network supports the growth of neighbourly living through the cohousing model across the UK. We have an office in the North East and there are a number of developing cohousing communities in the North East. Hopefully soon the first cohousing community in the North East will be completed!
