Tyne Rivers Trust

Tyne Rivers Trust has a unique role as guardian of the River Tyne Catchment, overseeing the continuing conservation and regeneration of the river from the impacts of its industrial past. We can only do this by working with others. We need people to become involved alongside us, and as a charity we rely on financial and volunteer support.

Tyne Valley Community Rail Partnership (TVCRP)

Our core aim is to promote, strengthen and protect the role of the Tyne Valley railway line between Newcastle-Hexham-Carlisle for residents, tourists, employees, employers and service providers.

Tynedale Hospice at Home

Tynedale Hospice at Home provides end-of-life care and support to patients in their own homes, where they are most comfortable and feel their best. Our team of dedicated caregivers are here when you need us. We also provide hospital transport and bereavement support to help you through these tough times.

Tyneside Cinema

Tyneside Cinema is the North East’s leading specialised cinema and digital arts venue and is located in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. We opened our doors in 1937 and are the last surviving news theatre still operating as a cinema today.

Tyneside Cinema welcomes almost 500,000 people into its building every year, offering a rich and diverse artistic programme of film, exhibitions and events across film, artist film and film heritage for audiences of all ages and from all walks of life.

We also have a strong commitment to children and young people, and deliver a significant and highly regarded learning and participation programme for, with and by children and young people aged 8-24 years. This is housed in a dedicated creative space opposite Tyneside Cinema’s main building on Pilgrim Street.

US Active works with young people aged 12-25 living in Tyne and Wear, Northumberland and North Durham who have , or who are at risk of developing mental health difficulties. We work to engage them in a sport or activity of their choice in order for them to benefit from the mental health benefits of physical activity and exercise.

We give a voice to the people in the criminal justice system. Through their ideas we deliver change.

We were created by and are run by people who have been in prison and on probation. Lived experience means we engage empathetically instead of sympathetically.

We exist to reduce offending by working with the most marginalised people in and around the criminal justice system to make sure that practitioners and policy-makers hear their voices.”

Versus Arthritis

Versus Arthritis is a national charity, alongside volunteers, healthcare professionals, we continue to develop breakthrough treatments, campaign relentlessly for arthritis to be seen as a priority, and support each other whenever we need it.

We provide information for people living with arthritis on our website, by calling our helpline, asking our virtual assistant or on our online community forum

Our research has made life-changing breakthroughs and improve the lives of millions of people living with arthritis. We strive to accelerate pace and improve precision – to create more and better-tailored solutions that directly benefit people with arthritis.

We provide support and services for people with arthritis in across the UK. We provide them, their families, and friends with support, understanding, information and expertise so they can get the most out of life.

We work with policy-makers to ensure arthritis stays on their agenda. Our data and analysis help policy makers to understand arthritis and MSK conditions. We run campaign to make our politicians listen and take action.

We provide GP's and healthcare professionals with training, information, resources and the tools they need to support their patients in every way they can.
