Living Woods North East CIC
Living Woods North East CIC was established in 2017 to give every person in the region the opportunity to plant a tree at no cost. We have expanded to offer volunteer opportunities in both woodland creation and woodland management and have also recently taken on the work of a smaller group to assist in the creation and development of orchards and other fruit growing opprtunities.

Alongside promoting gardening as a health benefit for physical and mental wellbeing and providing a maintained site to do so - we also distribute fresh produce and excess plants to the local community, organise and run nature, wildlife and craft activities and host open days, community get togethers and cultural events to promote nature and our local area as an inspirational space for art, music, sculpture and poetry.

Love Dunston is a charity set up to develop the capacity and skills of the communities of Dunston and its surrounding neighbourhoods so that residents are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more effectvely and more fully in society, benefiting those residents by supporting and providing facilities for mental health suport, education, recreation and leisure with the objective of improving the conditions of life for those residents
