A bit about the role
We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Operational Support Officer to join our team at Newcastle Carers, a successful and well-established charity. This role is an exciting opportunity for an organised individual with excellent communication skills to make a real difference and impact in our organisation. You’ll work closely with staff members, volunteers, service users and professionals to ensure the delivery of our support is effective and efficient; you will be the first point of contact for people accessing our service. Providing excellent communication, organisation and administrative support will be critical to your work.
About you
We are looking for an efficient and organised person who is motivated to provide support across our organisation and build a lasting impact for carers. You’ll have experience in communicating and liaising with members of the public and professionals, and a wide range of admin experience in an office environment. You’ll be someone who has strong interpersonal skills and can confidently multi-task, work to deadlines and use IT systems effectively.
This Operational Support Officer role has a focus on Building and Welcome Specialist. We’re looking for someone who provides efficient administrative support, can monitor the effective use of CRM systems, communicates with carers and professionals, and ensures Newcastle Carers Centre is a safe and welcoming environment for all.
