The post holder will work as part of The Women’s Workshop team, which runs projects, learning and individual support for and with women, helping them break down barriers, achieve their goals and have a say.
The Communications Officer will have specific responsibility for providing professional communications support and advice related to Women’s Workshop activity and campaigns.
- Updating and managing the content of Women’s Workshop website and social media.
- Creating and disseminating the Women’s Workshop newsletter.
- Producing publicity, leaflets and reports to the specification of the Women’s
Workshop team and liaising with external printers/partners.
- Taking part in team meetings, occasional external meetings.
- Assisting with outgoing correspondence by email and post as required.
- Assisting in the marketing and occasionally the setup of courses and events as required.
- Receiving and responding to telephone calls and emails.
- Other duties relevant to the post.
