VONNE CEO Jane Hartley had added her voice to the charity sector's response to the news the government will not be implementing any of the conservative peer Lord Hodgson’s recommended reforms of the Lobbying Act.
In her blopost on the issue, she says:
"VONNE will continue to collaborate and support our colleagues across the sector working at national level such as Bond, NCVO, CAF, NAVCA, the Small Charities Coalition and more, to ensure that the Government works with the Electoral Commission to make it very clear that charities are free to speak out on behalf of the causes and people they support."
