Smaller charities (those that employ fewer than 250 people) will be able to make use of a new telephone advice service about the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), run by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
The service will be available from 1 November 2018.
The ICO will also be simplifying its 12 Steps to Take Now document in response to calls from smaller organisations that they needed more targeted information on how to prepare for the GDPR.
