VONNE coordinates a number of health and wellbeing programmes and projects across the region, and hosts a range of networks that are free to become a member of and participate in.
Health & Wellbeing Network, North East and North Cumbria

Our Health & Wellbeing Network is open to anyone in the North East and North Cumbria region from voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations and the health and care sector with an interest in health and wellbeing. It provides the opportunity for members to receive our Health & Wellbeing bulletin containing information about the VCSE Partnership Programme, health and care system developments and research, regional health and wellbeing news, funding and events
VCSE Partnership Forum and sub-groups, North East and North Cumbria
For VCSE organisations in the region.
In addition to our Health & Wellbeing Network, VCSE sector colleagues may wish to be more actively involved in the North East and North Cumbria VCSE Partnership Programme by participating in the VCSE Partnership Forum and/or themed sub-groups:
Mental health; Ageing well; Multiple and complex needs; Learning disabilities and autism; Women/Violence Against Women and girls; Black and Minoritised Communities; Neurology; Carers; LGBTQIA+; Workforce.
The VCSE Partnership Forum and sub-groups are specifically for senior managers responsible for health and wellbeing policy and strategic work within their VCSE organisation. You'll receive regular programme information and exclusive meeting invitations for our Forums and sub-group sessions.
Healthy Communities & Social Prescribing Network
Open to organisations in the North East and North Cumbria only.
Funded by the North East and North Cumbria (NENC) Population Health and Prevention Board, VONNE has established a cross-sector Healthy Communities & Social Prescribing Network for the North East and North Cumbria. This virtual forum works to foster development of collaborative relationships, sharing of information and learning, and to build stronger connections between social prescribing leads within the NHS, Local Authorities and the VCSE sector - including those also involved in the Thriving Communities Network who are based in the North East or North Cumbria.
If you have an interest in becoming a member of any of these networks please click on the links below to select which networks, give us your details and be added to the associated network mailing list/s. They are free to become a member and participate in. You can opt out at any time.
