The government has announced plans for a new civil society strategy that will coordinate and improve how public sector bodies interact with the charity sector. Implementation will be led by Tracey Crouch, minister for civil society.
The strategy will explore ways to build new partnerships within and between sectors and communities but will not include any addtional funding for the sector.
