This free online training will give an overview of how our range of advocacy services in North-East England operate. It is aimed at local voluntary and community organisations, rather than at individuals, statutory services or organisations from outside the North East.
Through a mix of interactive presentations and activities the session will cover:
- An overview of the range of our advocacy services available at Connected Voice
- An outline of the key challenges and concerns affecting our most disadvantaged communities and the individuals in need of advocacy
- An understanding of how advocates can support people you are working with and how you can refer people to us
This online session will be delivered on Teams. A joining link will be sent closer to the time of the training.
Connected Voice Advocacy works across the North East of England to support people to be heard and fight for their rights. This training is for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations serving Newcastle and/or Gateshead.
