The independent inquiry into the future of civil society has released its final findings, following two years of consultation involving over 3,000 people and over 50 events, including the VONNE annual conference 2017.

The Story of Our Future: shifting power, bridging divides, transforming society calls for reforms of the sector to ensure it meets the needs of society. It invites all civil society organisations to sign up to a shared PACT: a set of principles, practices and questions that will help guide us into the future themed around Power; Accountability; Connections and Trust.

The final findings include a summary report, full research and a dedicated report on race, all of which can be downloaded from the inquiry's website.

You can also read a round up of responses to the findings from civil society leaders.
