The UK’s first digital code of practice for charities has launched, providing practical advice on improving your digital capabilities.
The Code was shaped through a consultation and pilot phase, during which VONNE inputted into the development, and there are two versions of the code, one for larger charities and one for smaller organisations.
The Code includes seven principles to be considered by charities wanting to develop their digital activity:
- Leadership
- User Led
- Culture
- Strategy
- Skills
- Managing Risks and Ethics
- Adaptability
The Code is available through a website which also contains a number of practical resources for organisations.
