Role description: North Tyneside Citizens Advice is seeking to appoint new Trustees for a very successful service, which makes a notable impact for its clients.
An independent charity based in North Shields, we are part of the national Citizens Advice network. Our aim is to provide a client centred service that makes a real difference. The Trustee Board is responsible for the strategic direction of the service.
To achieve a more balanced and well-informed Board, we particularly need people with a background or experience in finance, in equality and diversity, anti-poverty engagement, and public/charities sector work. There is also the opportunity for a person with experience in leadership and governance to take on the post of Chair, which will shortly become vacant.
