YOUNG PEOPLE’S FAMILY ENTREPRENEUR - YOUTH PROJECTS
12 hours per week
Fixed Term Contract until March 2025 (with possibility of extension)
We currently have a vacancy for a Young People’s Family Entrepreneur to work within our Youth projects at our Community Hub in Howdon, Wallsend.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for working with young people from the local community.
The main purpose of the role is to work as part of a team to deliver our youth projects which currently run every Thursday and Friday evenings until 8pm
Our Hub is a large building which enables us to offer a variety of activities and we also have the use of our recently upgraded external multi use games area (MUGA) together with cafe facilities.
We are passionate about supporting young people and offer a safe, secure and welcoming environment for local people. We want local people to access the building and feel welcome, supported and valued.
Successful candidates will have a passion and commitment to working with young people aged 11 and upward, be reliable, friendly, flexible and well organised. They will have capacity to develop and learn and be able to work well with others in a busy environment.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and the receipt of 2 satisfactory references
