We need someone with an understanding of social issues and community needs to join our team as a full-time Funding Co-ordinator.
 
Funding Co-ordinator (Full time 35 hours a week) 
Starting salary: £28,080 
Newcastle upon Tyne
 
 
At the Community Foundation Tyne & Wear and Northumberland, we share a love for North East England and believe in the importance of giving and philanthropy, backing local charities and championing disadvantaged people.  
 
Every year, we award grants to hundreds of local charities and community organisations through funds set up by donors and partners. 

As our Funding Co-ordinator, you’ll assess funding requests we receive and make recommendations on those to support. You’ll also carry out grant monitoring and reporting, and help promote our funding to potential recipients. You also manage some of our smaller lighter-touch funds.  We don’t need you to have worked in funding before, or have a degree. But you’ll have an understanding of the work of local charities and community organisations. You’ll believe in backing the brilliant work of small charities, and embracing equality and diversity.
