This an exciting opportunity for an experienced and confident programme manager. You will be responsible for managing and growing an existing programme of heritage themed projects and initiatives and developing new ones from inception to completion.
The Trust is an independent charity with no public subsidy so key to the role with be the management and growth of several income streams for the Trust. Experience of growing engagement to ensure financial sustainability is therefore essential, together with knowledge and experience of securing funding through grants/donations.
We couldn’t do the work we do without the dedication of our volunteers so integral to this role will be the support and development of our volunteer team.
The Ouseburn Trust has developed and managed a number of heritage projects since its inception. We are most well-known for the Victoria Tunnel tours, but also have a growing demand for our guided walks above ground, talks programmes, brewery tours, our archives and heritage blog.
The current post holders responsible for developing each of these are both stepping down in the summer, and the Trust is creating one full time post for an enthusiastic and experienced person to take the lead in managing our programme of heritage themed projects and activity, financing its growth and extending its reach.
