We are looking for an experienced operations and administration professional to join us as our new Office Administrator
At the Community Foundation, we share a love for North East England and believe in the importance of giving and philanthropy, backing local charities and championing disadvantaged people.
Every year, we award grants to hundreds of local charities and community organisations through funds set up by our donors. As our Office Administrator, you’ll bring experience of working effectively in a busy, office-based environment. You will provide high quality, efficient administrative support internally and externally. Importantly, you will be the first person our grant applicants speak to about our funding opportunities, and the first our visitors meet when they come to our building. At all times, you’ll provide excellent telephone, face-to-face and written customer service.
You’ll have strong interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude and the ability to deal with people’s enquiries fairly, efficiently and with tact and diplomacy. You’ll be enthusiastic and able to work flexibly. You’ll be competent using ICT and operational systems and able to input and manage data accurately. You’ll be a great team player with a commitment to excellent customer service.
