Northumberland Domestic Abuse Services provides support to all victims who have been the subject of domestic abuse/violence, supports them through the criminal justice system and offers relevant advice and assistance, both practical and emotional. NDAS empowers victims to make decisions, increase their options, their confidence and safety. Prevention and awareness raising activities are also delivered across Northumberland and counselling to the children of our service users.
We are looking to recruit a full-time Finance and Administration Office to ensure the smooth running of the charities finances and administration.
Full-time 37.5 hours but part-time considered
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
You will be essential in providing administration support to the Charity and maintaining good financial management of the charity’s new and existing products, working closely with the CEO and Funding Officer. You will have responsibility for financial administration, including management of accounts for the board of trustees, the financial information required for various funding returns, as well as undertaking general admin tasks for the Charity. A key part of the role will also be ensuring proper records are kept; and that financial procedures are followed; monitor and report on the financial health of the charities products, oversee the production of necessary financial reports and manage and run staff payroll each month.
