Groundwork works across the UK mobilising practical community action to poverty and the environment. We believe no one should be held back by their background or circumstance; that environmental breakdown impacts worst on those that have least and that building resilient communities will help us tackle national and global challenges.
We provide training and create jobs and encourage social action; reduce energy use and waste; re-connect people with nature and transform whole neighbourhoods. We support communities so they are strong enough to shape their own destiny and everyone can reach their potential.
