BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICER

22.5 hours per week - days to be agreed

£9.90 per hour (£19,047 per annum pro rata based on 37-hour week) Love, Amelia is an accredited Living Wage provider.

Fixed term for 6 months 

 

Love, Amelia is seeking to recruit a part-time Business Support Officer, to provide wrap around administrative support as well as customer service functions.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a genuine, friendly, and approachable person who is looking to develop and grow in a supportive environment.  We are looking for a person we can invest in and support to develop a meaningful and transferable skill set which will build on your already excellent organisational skills, your eye for detail, and your ability to take initiative.
 

Main Functions of the role

  • Provide reception support including handling phone calls, emails and visits
  • Complete administrative tasks for all areas of the charity, including data entry and basic analysis.
  • Support in the delivery and fulfilment of Love Amelia services and projects alongside other members of the team.
  • Connect with others to grow relationships with beneficiaries, services, and stakeholders.

About the organisation

Love, Amelia is a registered charity (1182062) supporting families experiencing poverty and hardship.  Since 2019, we have supported over 3,500 children by working to create a circular economy whereby we collect donations of new and preloved items and distribute to children who need them most.  The families we support are often facing extremely challenging situations such as poverty and unemployment, homelessness, victims of human trafficking and domestic abuse, and hardship related to the rising costs of living.
