Doing Recruitment Differently: A VCSE sector roundtable

VONNE, VODA and Collective Impact Agency are hosting this roundtable for the VCSE sector to explore challenges, opportunities, and ideas for taking different approaches to recruitment.

In a variety of forums, the sector has told us they are finding recruitment difficult. Organisations struggling to recruit are often thinking about ways to make applying for their roles more accessible, reaching a diverse group of candidates, creating the conditions for applicants to show their most authentic selves, and working out how to match what they learn about candidates against role fit in a way that feels fair and equitable. They’re also thinking about how to ensure their organisations can offer a positive experience for employees as well as applicants and expanding their reach.

In this roundtable we’ll invite participants to contribute their ideas as a way of offering support to others. Every organisation has something to offer, and this will be a space for you to share, listen and learn.

There are no recruitment experts, just organisations thinking about and trying new ideas.

Register to join the roundtable, and let us know during sign up if you are doing something you think others might be interested in, or if you have a particular issue or challenge you’re facing.

This free session is part of a programme of support designed to encourage innovation in North East Small and Medium Enterprises in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector.
