Tees Valley UK SPF consultation event
This online event is for VCSE sector organisations in the Tees Valley to contribute perspectives to inform the Tees Valley Combined Authority investment plan for the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF).
The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) announced that communities across the United Kingdom will benefit from £2.6 billion of UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) being allocated to help spread opportunity and level up the country. For VONNE's perspective on the UKSPF announcements to date read our CEO Carol Botten's blog.
Tees Valley Mayoral Combined Authority is a lead authority for the UKSPF and the allocation for the region is £42,725,676 core funding over three years, with an additional £3,631,629 for the Multiply adult numberacy programme.
Lead authorities need to submit investment plans which will set out how they will deliver a successful programme and are encouraged to work with a diverse range of local stakeholders, appropriate groups and organisations to develop their investment plan. To this end, the Tees Valley Infrastructure Partnership is hosting this engagement event for the VCSE sector. The Tees Valley Infrastructure Partnership are:
