Charity Finance Group: Communicating Effectively with Your Bank

We’re delighted to host Clare Mills, Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Charity Finance Group for this online session about banking services and communicating effectively with your bank.
Charity Finance Group (CFG) is the charity that inspires a financially confident, dynamic and trustworthy charity sector by championing best practice, nurturing leadership and influencing policy makers.
In 2024, Charity Finance Group, NCVO and the Civil Society Group published Charity Banking Challenges 2024, a report exploring the barriers that charities encounter in accessing the banking services they need.
The report showed that 90% of charities experienced difficulties with banking, with 64% of charities submitting complaints to their bank, and more than half of them going unresolved.
This practical and timely session will focus on banking services and how charities can communicate effectively with their bank — an issue that continues to present real challenges across the sector.
Drawing on CFG’s recently updated toolkit, Communicating with your bank: Raising an issue or concern , the webinar will provide clear, actionable advice and real-world examples to help you feel more confident, informed and in control when dealing with your bank.
We look forward to welcoming you and supporting our members and networks to build stronger, more effective relationships with their banks.
