Workshop overview

This workshop is designed to support the initial discovery phase of your digital strategy. The session will help you to understand the questions that you will need to ask as part of your digital strategy project and outline the workflow and steps which need to happen next. You'll be able to decide which aspects to include in your discovery phase and also start answering questions such as what are your key challenges and what are your strengths, creating an overall plan for the year.

How can a digital strategy help my charity / social enterprise?

A holistic digital strategy empowers charities to leverage digital for increased visibility, engagement, and operational effectiveness, ultimately furthering your impact.

An effective online presence can enhance visibility, enabling you to connect with a broader audience through social media, websites, and digital campaigns. This increased exposure can attract more supporters, volunteers, and donors, ultimately amplifying your mission. Additionally, a digital strategy facilitates streamlined communication, enabling charities to share their stories, impact, and urgent needs swiftly and directly with stakeholders.

Moreover, digital tools can optimise fundraising efforts. Online donation platforms, crowdfunding campaigns, and email marketing can efficiently mobilise financial support. Data analytics within a digital strategy can provide valuable insights into donor behaviour and preferences, enabling charities to tailor their outreach and engagement strategies effectively.

Beyond fundraising, digital  can enhance operational efficiency by automating administrative tasks, managing volunteer coordination, and ensuring transparent communication within the organisation.
